On graduating from Durham University in 1984, having read Law & Politics, David went to the College of Law and finalised his training at one of Manchester's top commercial law firms, before qualifying as a solicitor in 1988.
David merged his own practice with Fuglers in 1998 and heads the Company/Commercial Department.
David is experienced in acting on all aspects of Company and Commercial matters in particular company sales and purchases and the commercial and financial aspects of property transactions. He also advises on venture capital transactions and estate planning for high net worth individuals. Additionally, David acts for a number of football clubs, including Bury FC and is an Ambassador for the club.
David is a trustee of a number of charities and organizations, including The JNF, The President Reagan Memorial Fund Trust and Just Rifles.
In his spare time David is kept very busy with a young son and as chauffeur to his teenage daughter.
Specialising in commercial property, landlord and tenant and residential property. Kiry works with large and growing companies, as well as individuals, in the buying and selling of land, and all aspects of property development from initial planning right through to completion.
Jeremy read law at Leeds University and trained at London law firm Manches and Co. He then set up his own practice eventually merging it to become Vizards Tweedie where he was head of the property department before its merger with Veale Wasbrough.
Jeremy specialises in the acquisition and disposal of dental practices and has extensive experience in commercial landlord and tenant law, commercial and residential property development and portfolio acquisitions and sales.
His interests are sport, art and theatre and he is a lifelong season ticket holder at Spurs.
Jon specialises in property transactions. He has considerable experience in residential, plot development, and commercial and business conveyancing matters.
Jon acts for both landlords and tenants in the letting of commercial and business premises, the purchase and sale of residential property, the re-mortgage and refinancing of property, options to buy and sell and many other property related matters. Jon also acts for various lenders in the secured lending field.
Jon takes great pride in acting for the same clients for numerous years and is able to establish a positive and friendly working relationship with all clients.
After obtaining a degree in Law and Human Resource Management at the Middlesex University, Olu completed the Legal Practice Course at the London College of Law in London. Thereafter, he trained and qualified at a commercial law firm in North London.
Olu is an Associate Solicitor and member of the Commercial Dispute Resolution and joined the Litigation Team at Fuglers in 2013.
Olu has considerable and extensive experience and expertise in a variety of commercial litigation and civil litigation areas which includes: property disputes, contractual disputes, shareholder, company and partnership disputes, insolvency, fraud, employment disputes and family and matrimonial matters.
Outside of work, Olu is a keen follower of cricket and football. His support for Arsenal provides ample evidence that diversity flourishes at Fuglers!
Qualifying in 1970 Bryan is experienced in most aspects of commercial law - be it litigation, corporate or commercial. In the early 1990's, Bryan became a media and sports specialist acting for the likes of Tottenham Hotspur PLC, Queens Park Rangers Football Club, Terry Venables, George Best, Jimmy White and lots of other sporting and showbiz personalities.
Throughout the last 10 years Bryan has mainly devoted his time to negotiating commercial agreements and settlement of all manner of disputes and now spends most of his time as a business developer for the practice.
Bryan is the Founder of Just Rifles, a charity that provides immediate funds to meet the needs of injured Riflemen going through rehabilitation. The charity reacts to the needs of the wounded quickly and effectively. As a trustee, Bryan actively leads the fund-raising effort for this outstanding cause.
Bryan also works with the youth of Waltham Abbey through the Howard Edward Community Project, which he set up.
A life long supporter and season ticket holder of Spurs, Bryan spends most of his spare time having as much fun as he can and spending time with his grandchildren.
Ian has extensive experience in all aspects of property law including construction transactions, investment work, and private banking work, acting for shopping groups, leasehold collective and individual enfranchisements and extensions (for landlord and tenant). Litigation experience includes Richard Barland -v- VT Engineering (1968) and Capital and Suburban Properties -v- Swycher (1976).
Rory studied law at Downing College, Cambridge University and qualified as a solicitor in 1997 with Herbert Smith. Rory’s focus is on commercial dispute resolution.
He has a broad range of experience in handling general commercial and contractual disputes, professional negligence actions specialising in defending solicitors, insurance litigation, insolvency litigation with strong links in the insurance and financial institutions sectors.
Recent work highlights include acting in a 5 week insurance fraud trial involving worldwide freezing injunctions and successfully bringing an appeal to the Court of Appeal.
Rory also advises on contentious employment law issues and commercial transactions in the technology and media sector. With close links in the sporting world he has advised on sponsorship agreements with the British & Irish Lions, shareholder and agency issues among other areas.
Rory has Masters’ qualifications in insurance law, employment law and international tax law.
Rory achieved the sporting distinction of obtaining a triple blue in rugby, cricket and athletics at Cambridge, going on to play rugby for Harlequins and an England XV in Argentina.
Outside of professional life, Rory enjoys family life in Surrey, golf, supporting Harlequins, Classics international rugby and the Free Foresters cricket club.
Oliver graduated from University College Galway with a business degree before going on to read law at the same college. Oliver then went to The College of Law in Chester before completing his training with a large regional practice on the south coast.
Oliver has developed a broad practice covering all aspects of property work including the acquisition of development sites, plot sales, residential sales and purchases. In recent years Oliver has also developed a significant practice in Asia acting for investors buying London property. He travels to Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore on a regular basis and also acts for a number of Asian banks.
Oliver's approachable style makes him very easy to work with.
When not working Oliver enjoys watching rugby and playing golf.
